A group of 40 children and ten supervisors from Bildungshelden gGmbH traveled to the youth and education camp during the summer vacations in July.
It was to be a very special premiere: The Bildungshelden Salzgitter team had the idea of taking a group of children aged between nine and 14 to the Salzgitter youth and education camp on the island of Neuwerk. After consultation and joint planning with Martina Malak, the City of Salzgitter's youth welfare officer, the group went to Neuwerk Island for six days on July 13.
Samir Roshandel, Managing Director of Bildungshelden gGmbH, was delighted with the trip: "The children and we supervisors had a fantastic time at the youth and education camp. They felt so comfortable there and would have loved to stay longer. The days flew by with a mudflat hike, a soccer tournament, a creative workshop and a barbecue on a stick. It was also very pleasant to be together in a safe space. On behalf of the children and all the participants, I would like to thank everyone involved in the city for this great time at the Salzgitter youth and education camp. A successful premiere and there will certainly be a repeat!"

The Neuwerk Youth and Education Camp offers the opportunity for a wonderful stay on the island of Neuwerk for camps, school trips, club outings, seminars and family recreation. The camp is open from the beginning of May to the end of September. Individuals and groups are welcome.
