The two musicians Marius Staible and Daniel Roth are among the most exciting representatives of the young European accordion scene and have been honored with the 1st prize of the chamber music competition "Val Tidone", the "Franz Liszt Prize" and most recently the "John Cage Award" 2025.

The duo is constantly developing the sound of its instrument with passion, precision and unbridled curiosity. Their repertoire combines works by Vivaldi and J. S. Bach with music by Astor Piazzolla, Sergei Rachmaninoff, John Cage, Steve Reich and their own compositions.
