The band is one of the most innovative bands in Bavaria and inspires with a unique mixture of brass, pop, techno and ska. Their energetic live shows have secured the musicians a firm place in the European music scene.
They are bringing their new program to Salzgitter. LaBrassBanda will be presenting the songs from their new album "LaBrassBanda Polka Party". The musicians have teamed up with rapper Roger Rekless to create an exciting fusion of Bavarian music and modern hip-hop. The resulting song "Space Bäda" is part of their album "Polka Party", which continues the band's tradition of breaking genre boundaries.
As supporting act "Makatumbe"
Before the LBB musical fireworks start, the band "Makatumbe" heats up the audience as the opening act. The musicians put global dance and pop music into the mixer and hit the dance button. The band's sound and lively stage presence is just as diverse as their music: vocal acrobatics and clarinet are combined with beatbox, ragamuffin, fantasy language and overtone singing on a melodic accordion sound wave that rolls on a massive groove structure of bass and drums. For the audience favorites and two-time winners of the "Creole Global Music Contest", the size of the stage doesn't matter. It's all about what music can move, the moment, the audience and the joy of going wild with music.
