About the content:
"Clara & Rilke" is about the love story of Rainer Maria Rilke and Clara Westhoff - the only woman the idolized poet married. Rilke had numerous love affairs, but left them as soon as affection and love became a commitment for Rilke. Nevertheless, he tried to lead a truly family life by marrying Clara Westhoff, but this failed. After just under a year, Rilke also separated from his wife Clara Westhoff and left the apartment they shared. Nevertheless, Rilke remained close to Clara Westhoff for the rest of his life.
Bestselling author Lena Johannson tells the story of this special love in her book. Guests can look forward to a reading that pays tribute to Rainer Maria Rilke, who would have celebrated his 150th birthday this year.
Lena Johannson is the author of well-known and popular series such as the Hamburg Saga and the Jungfernstieg Saga. Last year, she wrote about Coco Chanel and the love of her life. Lena Johannson also pens exciting crime novels.
