The young talents come from all over Germany and are looking forward to their performance in the Fürstensaal at Salder Castle. The audience can look forward to an extraordinary concert.
From Monday, May 19, to Thursday, May 22, interested parties will have many opportunities to try out the various instruments, listen to the students' concerts, find out more about the music school's offerings and talk to the music school team.
There are also a few special features on some days this year.
The overview:
Kick-off on Monday, May 19:
- At 3pm, the "Fidolino" ensemble will perform a musical story about spring: Flute, guitar, bassoon, singing and piano will be heard. Pre-order tickets (5 euros) at: kultur- veranstaltungenstadt.salzgitterde or at the box office.
- Also on Monday, all 8 to 10-year-olds are invited to a percussion circle in the hall of the fire station. Many different percussion instruments will be represented!
Introductory workshop for table harps on Tuesday, May 20:
- For those interested in table harps, there will be a morning introductory workshop for adults at 11am.
Music meeting on Wednesday, May 21:
- The music get-together for adults will take place at 7.30pm: Adults play for adults with a cozy finale (it gets culinary...)
Dance music on Thursday, May 22:
- "Senior dance in the morning": senior citizens with and without support needs can get to know a special dance offer from 11 am. There will be several seated dances to get the body moving. Of course, there will also be singing! Being active together is simply more fun!
- "Music and dance for everyone": Teachers from the music school then invite everyone who would like to dance to music from different centuries to dance at 5 pm - young and young at heart meet up for this experiment. Who will be there?
Cheerful finale on May 22:
- The music school days end on Thursday with a serenade concert at 6 pm on the green meadow (behind the hall of the Alte Feuerwache in Thiestraße).

Children's and family concerts:
- The children's and family concerts will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 4 p.m. in the hall of the Alte Feuerwache on Wehrstraße in Lebenstedt. The pupils of the music school will use their instruments to tell their young listeners special stories with beautiful music.
Instrument tour:
- Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. and Tuesday/Wednesday from 4 to 4:45 p.m. the popular "instrument circuit" opens. Here, children from the age of six, teenagers and adults can try out instruments for themselves. Almost all instruments are represented (see overview for details).
- For younger children, the "Kunst- und Kreativschule" (KuK) offers craft activities in the cafeteria.
Concerts:
- The 6 p.m. concerts are varied. Here, those interested have the opportunity to listen to numerous solo and chamber music performances by music students of all instruments.

During the Music School Days, anyone interested can find out all about what the music school has to offer. Important: There are no lessons during the music school days.
