Children between the ages of six and 12 were able to take part.
The vacation week began with educational games so that the participants could not only get to know each other, but also see who they would like to take part in one or other of the activities with. And then things got underway. The staff had put together a varied program for the children. It ranged from creative activities, such as making macramé pendants, pumpkins out of wool and homemade beeswax scarves, to curious competitions, such as the paper airplane competition. But autumnal culinary delights were also created during this October week, such as autumnal cookies or vegetable soup cooked on the outdoor wood stove. We went out into the forest, where we collected natural materials for handicrafts, identified plant species, collected garbage and discovered tracks left by wild animals. The KJT was then a cozy place to watch a movie - with popcorn, of course -, relax with autumn yoga and enjoy the excitement of the digital FIFA tournament, which was popular with soccer fans. There were also various sports games to let off steam and the children were able to solve an exciting case in the escape room on the theme of "spies".
The children's verdict on this special autumn vacation week: there were lots of very different activities and, above all, something fun for everyone. Many of the participants are certain that they will be back for the next vacation event.
