Visitors can now enter the atrium of the town hall in Lebenstedt via the two automatic sliding doors.
The automatic doors are activated by motion detectors during opening hours. The guide strips integrated into the vestibule are the first step towards a barrier-free guidance system for visually impaired visitors.
The entrance area was also remodeled and fitted with an acoustic ceiling and energy-saving lights. Visitors to the town hall can reach the service point from here via stairs or a ramp. The access situation was significantly improved by the renovation work.
Subject to the necessary council resolution, the renovation of the entrance area was the first step of further necessary renovation measures in the atrium of the town hall.
