Planning approval decision for the renaturation of the Fuhse

The plan for the renaturation of the Fuhse with the creation of typical floodplain elements was adopted on 05.06.2025 in accordance with Section 68 of the Federal Water Act (WHG) at the request of the Lower Nature Conservation Authority dated 01.08.2024.

Between Theodor-Heuss-Straße and Autobahn 39, the city of Salzgitter is planning to renaturalize the Fuhse floodplain on city-owned land.

This planning approval decision was displayed together with the planning approval documents from 12.06.2025 to 25.06.2025.

The planning approval decision was available for inspection during the above-mentioned period at the Environment Department, Joachim-Campe-Str. 6-8, 38226 Salzgitter during the following times:

At the end of the exhibition period, the planning approval decision is deemed to have been served on the other affected parties in accordance with Section 74 (4) sentence 4 of the Administrative Procedure Act (VwVfG).
