Many visitors, young and old, have visited the special PLAYMOBIL Winter Magic exhibition designed by diorama artist Oliver Schaffer over the past few days. "On the third Adventstreff weekend, it was so full at times", says museum director Arne Homann, "that the 350 square meter exhibition hall 'Kuhstall' was almost bursting at the seams".
A total of 9,094 visitors were counted since the opening on November 30 and up to and including December 14. The majority of the guests, 7,230, were drawn to the special exhibition in the "Kuhstall" exhibition building. However, the PLAYMOBIL scenes in the showcases of the permanent exhibition in the castle were also very popular. This means that the previous record of 3,876 visits, which the museum recorded in December 2023, has already been surpassed. However, while this 2023 figure represents the entire month of December, the current record figure was achieved in a short space of time.
Opening hours
The current exhibition with thousands of figures in fantasy landscapes on large pedestals, six PLAYMOBIL play tables and a PLAYMOBIL rally through the castle is open until March 1, 2026.
So off to Salder to the PLAYMOBIL wonderland for young and old. The "cowshed" is barrier-free. You can park directly in the castle courtyard.
The best thing at the end: as always, admission is free!
