The land use plan for Salzgitter-Watenstedt and the development plan "Gewerbegebiet südwestlich Ortslage" for Salzgitter-Watenstedt were also approved.

The city parliament was informed about a measure as part of the further development of Salzgittersee. The administration was commissioned to examine how a toilet facility could be provided near the recreational sports facility on the western shore. Three possible options were considered. It is recommended that these be discussed and evaluated in the Salzgittersee further development working group in order to properly prepare a council decision.
