To announce the winners of the CITY CYCLING and SCHOOL CYCLING 2025 and present them with prizes and certificates for their achievements in the form of many kilometers cycled, the WIS and the city of Salzgitter had already invited them to the final event of the two cycling competitions on Klesmerplatz in Salzgitter-Bad in August.

Due to scheduling reasons, the successful Lebenstedt pupils from Kranich-Gymnasium and Gymnasium am Fredenberg were unable to attend the actual event in Salzgitter-Bad and therefore could not be honored for their outstanding achievements.

Only the Gymnasium Salzgitter-Bad was present on this day and was able to receive the award as the "most active cycling school" with the most kilometers per active team member, namely 145.1 kilometers per capita. For this, the school received 1,500 euros for sports equipment, sponsored by BKK Salzgitter and BKK Public.

The award ceremony for the Lebenstedt pupils has now been held. A separate "SCHULRADELN 2025" award ceremony was held on the premises of BKK Salzgitter and BKK Public in Lebenstedt.
