At this year's proclamation, Monika Ebeling (Schießklub Flora Lebenstedt) was crowned town queen and Dirk Könnecke (Schießsportgemeinschaft Lebenstedt) was crowned town king. Lisa-Marie Mönch (Gebhardshagen Shooting Club) was crowned City Youth Queen and Nick Stolze (Lebenstedt Shooting Club) was crowned City Schoolboy King.

Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel welcomed the shooting sisters and brothers in attendance and emphasized: "Our shooting clubs are a sporting and cultural anchor for the districts and for the whole of Salzgitter and an integral part of the city's society. My heartfelt thanks go to all the dedicated marksmen's sisters and brothers for their important and indispensable voluntary work."
