The Salzgitter Volkshochschule is part of a new cooperation project between eight Volkshochschulen from the southern Lower Saxony region. Together, Braunschweig, Gifhorn, Göttingen, Osterode, Goslar, Holzminden, Peine, Salzgitter and Wolfsburg invite you to rediscover your own surroundings through a selection of special events - in good company, with new impulses and with an eye for the special in everyday life.

From nature experiences to city discoveries and creative encounters: The events offer a varied mix of experience, exchange and knowledge.
For example, there are excursions in Salzgitter, such as a visit to the Salder Castle Municipal Museum on Friday, May 30, from 2:45 to 4:30 p.m. or a stone sculpting workshop in the historic Kniestedter manor house in Salzgitter-Bad from August 22 to August 24.
