It is important to be vigilant as an internet user and not give out personal information on suspicious websites or in emails. You should always make sure you are on a legitimate website before entering sensitive data and never click on suspicious links or open attachments in emails from unknown senders.
Among other things, the presentation will cover: What is phishing and how do I recognize a phishing attempt; Fake news or misleading information that is intentionally spread to deceive people; How do I recognize a fake website; Can you recognize fake reviews?
Information: The lecture "Online fraud - it only catches the others" will take place on Monday, May 19, from 6 to 8.15 p.m. at the Volkshochschule in Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 26a) and costs 15 euros.
