Nepal and Bhutan are considered to be particularly exciting destinations in terms of landscape, culture and development policy. They are strongly influenced by their religions, Nepal mainly by Hinduism and Bhutan by Buddhism. The large number of pagodas and temples is impressive, as are the forests, valleys and peaks of the world's highest mountain range.
Destinations of the round trip in combination with a domestic flight include Kathmandu, the royal city of Patan, Thimphu with the Tashichoe Dzong monastery, the "Tiger's Nest Monastery" Thaktsang and a safari to the rare rhinos in Chitwan National Park. There are also meetings on environmental issues, a talk at the United Nations office and visits to an eco-chili farm and a village.
The tour price per person is 3,399 euros in a double room. It includes accommodation in good mid-range hotels, half board, the round trip in air-conditioned coaches, scheduled flights from and to Frankfurt to Kathmandu and domestic flights between Nepal and Bhutan.
