Many girls participated in the creative workshops at the children’s and youth centers (KJT)—Graffiti, Hallendorf, Hamberg, Thiede, and D7—as well as at the Forellenhof Youth Culture Workshop (JKW), where they expressed through art how they want to celebrate their diversity. In addition, artwork by girls from Fredenberg Middle School will be on display in the exhibition.

The exhibition will open on Monday, October 5, at 4 p.m. in the atrium of City Hall (Joachim-Campe-Straße 6-8). Anyone interested is invited to discover this creative diversity. Participants will include the exhibiting girls, members of the Girls’ Working Group, and members of the Youth Parliament.

The exhibition will then be on view at various locations:

• Salzgitter-Lebenstedt City Hall (Joachim-Campe-Straße 6-8): October 5–15 (Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Monday and Thursday, 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
• Lebenstedt City Library (Joachim-Campe-Straße 4): October 6–15 (Hours: Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).
• Volkshochschule (VHS) in Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 26a): October 19 through 29 (Hours: Monday and Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Thursday: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Volkshochschule (VHS) in Salzgitter-Bad (Braunschweiger Straße 137a): November 2–16 (opening hours same as at the VHS in Lebenstedt)
• Fredenberg Vocational Schools (BBS) (Hans-Böckler-Ring 18–20): November 16–26 (Hours: Monday through Thursday: 7 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Friday: 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
