Plans call for the creation of a new waterway in the forest south of Sternbergstraße in Gebhardshagen, along the “Schlammgraben” waterway between the railroad tracks and the K21, and continuing on to Heerter See.
The work is necessary to ensure a sustainable water supply for Heerter See.

Once construction begins in calendar week 38, restrictions are expected in the forest above Sternbergstraße up to Vor der Burg Street and in the Strauchholz area.
The work is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027.

Access to the construction site will be from Gustedter Straße, Vor der Burg, and the K 21.
