In the new volume of the "Die drei !!!" series, the three friends Kim, Marie and Franzi are allowed to accompany Marie's father to South Africa for filming. But then things start to disappear from their accommodation. Even important film footage is stolen. The three detectives are already in the middle of a new case between the sun, cheeky monkeys and lion cubs and in danger! The story is written for children aged 10 and over.

Born in Wolfenbüttel, author Kirsten Vogel initially worked as an episode writer for the RTL series "Gute Zeiten Schlechte Zeiten" after completing her studies, before becoming a producer for the ZDF family series "Der Landarzt". She then devoted herself to writing children's books. In addition to the "Drei !!!" books, Kirsten Vogel also penned the well-known titles in the "TKKG junior" series.
