Checks were carried out at elementary school in the city both in the morning at the start of school and at lunchtime at the end of school.
The employees of the public order office informed parents of their misconduct on site and explained the proper alternative options.
The number of violations shows the need for ongoing checks to ensure the safety of primary school children in particular. In 2025, a total of 1165 violations were detected during 355 checks carried out.
The implementation of school route checks and the punishment of corresponding violations will continue in 2026 as part of Salzgitter "safe and clean 2.0".
