The Braunschweigische Landschaft had dedicated a photo competition to the element of water. The Braunschweigische Landschaft received more than 100 entries, almost 50 of which made it to the final round with their submitted projects. A jury of experts decided on the four finalists. Jette Held (Tanne/Harz), Kai Löffelbein (Hanover), Oscar Lebeck (Leipzig) and Yana Wernicke (Hochheim am Main) emerged successful from the process. The competition was announced on the occasion of the "Water" theme year of the Braunschweigische Landschaft.
The works of the nominated artists from the competition, as well as other artists, can be viewed in the castle until March 1.
The Braunschweigische Landschaft and the art collection of the city of Salzgitter invite you to the finissage on Sunday, March 1, at 3 pm at the exhibition in the Salder Castle Municipal Museum at Museumstraße 34 in Salzgitter-Salder. Admission is free of charge.
The participating artists will give insights into their photographic positions on the theme year "Water" of the Braunschweigische Landschaft and will be available to answer questions from the public.
