Between remembrance and a living passion for motorcycling, the event sends a strong signal for cohesion and greater road safety - and culminates in a day full of music, encounters and energy at Salzgittersee in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt.
The event starts at the Harz and Heath area in Braunschweig: at 1 p.m., a memorial service will be held in memory of the motorcyclists who died in an accident in 2025. The bikes will roll onto the site from 10 a.m. before the convoy sets off together towards Salzgitter.
At Reppner's Bay, the commemoration will continue from 1 pm - and the celebrations will continue: At the road safety day with biker party, information offers meet live music, a family program and a real festival feeling right on the lake.
A central moment will be the commemoration: at 7 pm, the professional fire department of the city of Salzgitter will light a bonfire. At 7.30 pm, the wooden crosses with the names of the motorcyclists who died in accidents in 2024, which were not collected last year, will be symbolically burned.
