Girl Power to Kick Things Off: Just as the “Comedy Ladys” thrilled their fans at the Mühlengarten in July, “Sistergold” will present their show “LuftMaschen” on Friday, September 11 (8:00 p.m. at Kniestedter Church). “Sistergold” stands for handcrafted music with sparkling wit, a passion for detail, and brilliant creativity—all with a high entertainment factor. In their new program “LuftMaschen,” the four saxophonists present not only well-known pieces from jazz, classical, funk, and pop but also a variety of their own compositions, tailor-made for the quartet.

Just one day later, the series continues with Hans-Joachim Heist as Heinz Erhardt: “Another Poem. An Afternoon Full of Wit, Charm, and Timeless Comedy” (September 12, 3:00 p.m., auditorium of Fredenberg High School).

With “Lagerfeuerotz” (no typo…) on Sunday, September 13 (7 p.m., Kniestedt Church), Jens Burger & Micha Rohrbeck aim to ignite the punk rock campfire with their blazing guitars…

With “Tango meets Gypsy: La Vie Bohème,” the “Orchestra Mondo” will transport its audience on Saturday, September 26 (8 p.m. at Kniestedter Church), to a long-gone yet unforgettable world of long nights filled with secrets and music in the alleys of Paris. The four musicians don’t just play tango, gypsy swing, and valse musette—they also paint soundscapes that take shape in the mind’s eye.

“Orchestra Mondo” tells of the dreams and desires of this bohemian world, of the passion that resonates in every note, and of the creative souls who dance between freedom and longing. Each piece is a story: a love letter to life, full of adventure, soaring highs, and deep melancholy.

“3 Little Monsters” is looking forward to welcoming many guests, young and old, on Sunday, September 27 (3:00 p.m. at Kniestedter Church) . About the story: Hilde is afraid of three little monsters. But she’s not alone—there’s Leo the colorful rabbit and, of course, the audience, who lend a hand. Hilde finds the courage she needs, and in the end, the monsters are defeated.
