The Adoption and Foster Children's Service of the City of Salzgitter is regularly looking for foster parents for children and young people who cannot grow up in their families. Anyone who wants to give children a new home, either temporarily or long-term, gives them the chance of a good start in life.
At the events, the team from the Adoption and Foster Children's Service of the City of Salzgitter provides information about this responsible task and the requirements that couples or individuals must meet. The individual family form does not play a role in suitability as a foster family: whether married, single, same-sex, patchwork family, with children or without: the decisive factors are reliability, stability, patience and understanding for children.
The team from the Adoption and Foster Children's Service also presents everyday life with foster families and cooperation with other foster parents from Salzgitter: Advice, guidance and support are just as much a part of this as regular exchanges and playground visits.
Questions can also be asked.
Important: The events are free of charge, without obligation and do not commit anyone.
