The waste collection service is on duty, but there may be cancellations due to the weather. In many places, it is difficult for employees to reach the waste garbage cans due to the mountains of snow that have been cleared to the right and left of the roads. The SRB asks that waste garbage cans that could not be emptied today be returned to the property and made available again on the next scheduled emptying date. The missed emptying will not be repeated.

If the volume of the yellow garbage can is not sufficient by the next emptying date, packaging can also be collected in transparent bags, which will then be taken along on the next regular emptying date as an exception

If paper containers on public recycling container sites are already full, the SRB asks you not to leave paper and cardboard next to the containers, but to take the paper to the next free container or to take it with you again and only dispose of it when there is free capacity at the sites again.

The fire department has not been called out due to the weather and the rescue service has also not had any weather-related call-outs.
