Jigsaw puzzles in good condition and complete, for children or adults—whether 500 or 3,000 pieces, featuring landscapes, animals, or art – can either be dropped off at any of the three city library branches by October 30 in exchange for a puzzle voucher or brought directly to the swap meet.
“Puzzling is an enduring and modern trend in which, as is well known, many small printed pieces are put together to form a large picture. It allows people to consciously disconnect from the digital world and relax,” says Sylvia Fiedler, director of the City Library. The City Library team looks forward to welcoming many puzzle fans!
Participation is free.
Information:
The idea: Bring in a puzzle and get a gift certificate for a new game in return.
Starting now, puzzles can be dropped off at any of the three locations during their respective opening hours. In exchange, you’ll receive a voucher that can be redeemed on November 7. Important: The puzzles should be complete.
The free puzzle swap will take place on Saturday, November 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lebenstedt City Library (Joachim-Campe-Straße 4). There, you can browse through the puzzles people have brought, swap them, and discover a new favorite design.
