The ZONTA Club Salzgitter supports women and girls in particular in their careers. ZONTA is therefore combining the reading in the city library with a fundraising event to support the club's projects. "Laurie inspires with her energy for writing. We want to support and encourage that. That's why it made sense to approach the Salzgitter City Library to organize a reading with Laurie Harmening and introduce this young author to a wide audience," says ZONTA President Andrea Wiencke about the cooperation event with the Salzgitter City Library. "We are delighted that Laurie Harmening is using her fame as an author to support the aims of the ZONTA Club Salzgitter."
"The opportunity to present a bestselling author in our city library is a benefit for our guests and for us as an institution. I am delighted to be able to invite her to this event," says Sylvia Fiedler, Head of the City Library. Dark romance is currently in greater demand than ever before and appeals to young adults and a large reading public, as was recently seen at the Leipzig Book Fair.
