At this year’s coronation ceremony, Elke Wellmann (Flachstöckheim Shooting Club) was crowned City Queen and Maic Andree (Üfingen Shooting Club) was crowned City King. Sara-Luna Dober (Lebenstedt Shooting Society) was named City Youth Queen, and Tom Kauna (Westerlinde Shooting Club) was named City Student King.

Mayor Frank Klingebiel welcomed the members of the shooting clubs in attendance and emphasized: “Our shooting clubs not only preserve the tradition of marksmanship, but also a piece of our city’s and region’s history. They demonstrate how important vibrant and active club, village, and city communities are, and through their volunteer work, they instill important values such as solidarity, a sense of responsibility, and respect. These are precisely the values we need in our society more than ever. I would therefore like to express my heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated members of the shooting clubs for their important and indispensable volunteer work.”
