Mental health is important for everyone: It affects how we work, sleep, feel, and interact with others. Everyone can do something for themselves and for others.
On Thursday, October 22, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., the Social Psychiatric Network of the City of Salzgitter will offer a wide range of information on mental health:
- Information booths from various mental health organizations—learn about the different services they offer
- At 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.: Moderated discussion sessions with experts—ask your questions (or just listen in)
- Exchange of experiences and ideas on the topic of mental health
- Coffee, cake, and hands-on activities
- Free and no registration required
The event is designed to:
- inform people and encourage conversation
- to provide support early on
- prevent crises
- strengthen one’s own mental health
- better understand mental illness
- To reduce prejudice and stigma
In short: Anyone who wants to learn more about mental health and how to cope is welcome to attend. If you have questions on behalf of a loved one, simply want to learn more, or would like to get to know what the participants have to offer, feel free to stop by with no obligation. Teens and adults are warmly invited.
Admission is free. No registration is required.
