The family of keyboard instruments takes center stage in a "lighthouse concert" on Sunday, June 14, from 3 p.m. in the hall of the Alte Feuerwache. Welcome to a colorful musical program with lots of piano music, accordion, clavichord and more!

Pupils from the music school will play, as will their teachers. As a special guest, the experienced piano maker Frank Engler will share interesting facts and provide insights into the inner workings of a grand piano. Questions are welcome and will be answered competently. Guests can look forward to unique insights.

There will also be the opportunity to see an accordion from the inside and marvel at the tonal possibilities of this instrument. The accordion is the instrument of the year 2026 and this musical globetrotter will be honored accordingly on this afternoon...

Information:

The concert can be heard on Sunday, June 14, from 3 p.m. in the hall of the Alte Feuerwache in Lebenstedt (Wehrstraße 27). Admission is free of charge.

During the interval there will be coffee and cake and time to chat.

The concert is part of the "Lighthouse Project", which began in 2024 with the flute and met with great interest.

With the new lighthouse project, the music school wants to give those who want to learn more about an instrument the opportunity to get to know it better. The lighthouse shines a light on a particular instrument. This year it is the keyboard instruments.
