Zigzagging over the checked fabric and full speed into the side seam: once you learn how to use a sewing machine, you will realize how easy it is to make clothes and small items out of fabric.

Participants will receive step-by-step instructions on how to cut fabric, what a pattern is for and how one seam after another leads to the desired result. A trained seamstress will make it easier for anyone interested to get started with sewing, so that at the end of the course they can say: "I sewed that myself".

Information: The follow-up sewing course for beginners starts at the Volkshochschule Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 26a) on Friday, May 22 (3 to 6 p.m.; preliminary discussion from 5 to 5.45 p.m.). For the following three dates (Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m.), participants will need a sewing machine and all the materials discussed beforehand. The course costs 67.29 euros.
