A kick-off event with comprehensive information on the competition will take place on Wednesday, November 7, at 5:30 p.m. at the Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel University of Applied Sciences in Salzgitter-Calbecht, Karl-Scharfenberg-Str. 55 - 57, Room B 1st floor 19 (new building). The application deadline is Sunday, December 23.

The prize for the first eight winners is support throughout the entire start-up process: from an analysis of potential for those wishing to set up their own business to 15 qualification modules and company contacts throughout the region.

The personal exchange of experience offers the opportunity to pool and share knowledge, to network and to rethink and advance one's own start-up steps. The competition, which was first initiated by Projekt Region Braunschweig GmbH in 2005, has met with great interest from more than 170 potential founders in recent years.

Following the identity competition, the Salzgitter Economic Development Agency will explain funding opportunities for start-ups in Salzgitter.
