Mayor Frank Klingebiel, Luitgard Heissenberg, head of the local editorial department of the Salzgitter Zeitung, Heinz-Jörg Fuhrmann, CFO of Salzgitter AG, Volker Küch, Vice President of the Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel University of Applied Sciences, and Jil Grabowski, 12-year-old daughter of a city council employee, evaluated the 36 entries.
Children, young people and adults were invited by Mayor Klingebiel to submit proposals for a children's logo by September 1. All designs are still on display in the town hall (1st floor, atrium) and can be viewed on the city portal salzgitter.de.
Claudia Hackbarth, an employee in the mayor's office, will now count the jury members' evaluation sheets according to a points system. The winner will be announced as part of the large children's and family event, which will take place on Wednesday, September 19, in the town hall. If necessary, the winning design will be professionally edited and used in future on all child and family-friendly city documents. The children's logo campaign also includes a prize draw with attractive prizes with a total value of 300 euros.
