Adding a type of transport to the passenger transport license

You can apply for a driving license for passenger transport (FzF) for various types of transport. These are

Journeys with

a cab
a rental car
a car in scheduled or emergency traffic
an ambulance.

If you have one of these types of vehicle, you can have it extended to include other types of transportation.

Prerequisites

For the extension:

  • for cab journeys, journeys with a rental car and journeys with a car in scheduled or on-demand services:
    • You have the necessary specialist knowledge.
    • You are at least 21 years old.
    • You have held an EU/EEA category B driver's license or a corresponding driver's license from another country for at least 2 years
  • for driving an ambulance:
    • Participation in a first aid training course
    • You are at least 19 years old.
    • You have been in possession of an EU/EEA category B driving license or an equivalent driving license from another country for at least one year.

Copy of existing driving license for passenger transport

  • Fee numbers 201 and 202.1 Fee schedule for road traffic measures (GebOSt)
  • Objection
  • Action before the administrative court
