- withdrawal,
- revocation or
- Waiver of the driving instructor license
A new driving instructor test can be waived if there are no facts against your professional or pedagogical suitability.
You must retake the test if more than 2 years have passed since the driving instructor license expired, was withdrawn or revoked, or if the driving instructor license was waived.

Responsibility lies with the district, the independent city, the large independent city and the independent municipality.
Prerequisites
- You are at least 21 years old.
- You are mentally and physically fit.
- You are professionally and pedagogically qualified.
- There are no reasons that make you appear unreliable for the profession.
- You have a driver's license for the class you wish to teach.
- You have sufficient knowledge of German.
