Municipal security service

The municipal public order service is made up of the administrative offenses team, the traffic safety team and the municipal public order service team.

The Administrative Offences Team (Fines Office) is responsible for prosecuting, punishing and enforcing reported administrative offences for all areas of investigation in the city.

In the Road Safety team, the Lower Road Traffic Authority issues orders to regulate road traffic and regulates traffic routing as part of construction measures in public spaces. It is also responsible for monitoring stationary and moving traffic.

The municipal public order service (KOD) carries out investigations on behalf of public authorities and ensures greater safety and order in the city of Salzgitter through its public presence.
