The main topics of "Working Group 1 - Education" are "Transition from school to work" and "Vocational training". The Kniestedter Herrenhaus in Salzgitter-Bad is the planned venue.
Depending on registration, 25 to 30 people from various European cities are expected to attend. Representatives of the cities were able to register until mid-June. Participant documents were then sent out by post.
The city network has a total of seven working groups: Education, Housing and Open Space, Health, Reconciliation of Family and Work, Coexistence of Young and Old, Participation and Transport and Safety.
Cities for Children" was founded in June 2007 on the initiative of the city of Stuttgart. Supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation, the network offers European cities the opportunity to exchange ideas across national borders and jointly develop new concepts to promote the well-being of children, young people and families in their immediate living environment.
