The city and various partners such as the Salzgitter Energy Competence Center, WEVG and the Economic Development Agency want to use them to provide information on topics relating to energy saving and funding opportunities.

There will be an exhibition in the atrium of the town hall, accompanied by presentations.

The opening event is on Tuesday, September 24, at 7 p.m. in the atrium of the town hall.

Lord Mayor Frank Klingebiel will be speaking on the topic of "Saving energy", the Managing Director of Metropolregion Hannover, Braunschweig, Göttingen and Wolfsburg GmbH, Raimund Nowak, and Michael Fuder, Managing Director of merkWATT, Braunschweig, on the "Climate protection concept of the city of Salzgitter".

The exhibition includes the information stands "Mobility - from natural gas to electromobility" (WEVG), "Solar potential register of the city of Salzgitter" (city of Salzgitter), "Climate protection concept of the city of Salzgitter" (city of Salzgitter), "Practical examples of energy modernization" (city of Salzgitter), "Funding opportunities" (business development / KfW) and Energie Kompetenz Zentrum e.V..

Another lecture will take place on Thursday, September 26, at 6:30 pm on the topic of "Mobility - from natural gas to electromobility", by Prof. Dr. Thomas Cerbe and Prof. Sven Strube from Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in the foyer of WEVG, Albert-Schweitzer-Straße 7 - 11, in Lebenstedt.

The third and final presentation will be given by Eckard von Schwerin (KfW) on Monday, September 30, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. in the Technology and Start-up Center, Windmühlenbergstraße 20, in Salzgitter-Bad on "Energy efficiency and renewable energies in SMEs - support from KfW".
