In order to involve residents more closely in the decision-making processes of the council (and its committees) and/or local councils, regulations in the Lower Saxony Municipal Constitution Act provide for the possibility of "residents' questions".

These are dealt with in public council meetings or local council meetings under the agenda item "Residents' Question Time". However, no discussion takes place.

Questions must be submitted online using this form by 12 noon 14 days in advance.
