The following levies and contributions may apply:

• Development charges (§§ 124 ff. Building Code (BauGB)), road development contributions (Section 6 of the Lower Saxony Local Rates Act (NKAG))
• Cost reimbursements under nature conservation law (Section 135 a BauGB)
• Reallocation compensation payments (Section 64 BauGB)
• Compensation contributions (§§ 154 f BauGB) in urban redevelopment areas
• Compensation contributions under soil protection law for properties that have been cleared of contaminated sites (Section 25 of the Federal Soil Protection Act (BBodSchG))
• Redemption amounts for parking space obligations (Section 47 a of the Lower Saxony Building Code (NBauO))
• Contributions based on services provided by water and wastewater associations
• Sealing levies
• Forest conservation levies

The certificate of residency is issued by the responsible authority.
