By providing subsidies, your federal state can support you in the creation or modernization of your own home or condominium. The home must be intended for use by you and the members of your household.

You do not have a legal entitlement to funding for your project.

Funding is available for

• new construction,
• the purchase
• modernization
• the energy modernization of owner-occupied residential property

for

• households with at least one child who has not yet reached the age of 15,

or

• households with at least one person with disabilities (persons with a degree of disability of at least 50 as well as persons in need of assistance and care with care grade 2 or higher).

The prerequisite for eligibility is that your income and the income of the members of your household do not exceed the income limits set by state law.

Funding is provided in accordance with the provisions of state law in the form of non-repayable grants and/or low-interest loans.
