If a sticker (seal or inspection sticker) has become detached from the license plate or has been damaged beyond recognition, one or more new stickers must be affixed to the existing or new license plate. Please contact the responsible office for further details.

• Valid identity card or passport with current registration confirmation - not older than 3 months
• Registration certificate part I
• HU test report or AU test certificate
  • if the relevant data cannot be found on the registration certificate part I or the deregistration certificate
• License plate on which the sticker has been damaged or removed

In the case of completion by a third party, additionally

• informal, written authorization from the person making the application and identity card of the person for whom the vehicle is to be registered
