If you would like to hunt with griffins or falcons in Germany, the so-called Beizjagd, you will need a German falconry hunting license in your name. You can apply for this as an annual hunting license.

An annual falconry hunting license is only issued or extended for one or three hunting years.

• ID card
• Hunting license or restricted hunting license for falconers o Certificate of the hunting examination or certificate of the restricted hunting examination for falconers
• Certificate of the falconry examination
• Current photograph
• Proof of statutory hunting liability insurance

The annual hunting license is valid for a maximum of three consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01.04. and ends on 31.03..
