If you would like to hunt with griffins or falcons in Germany, the so-called Beizjagd, you will need a German falconry hunting license in your name. You can apply for this as a day hunting license.

Prerequisites:

• at least 18 years old at the time of issue
• personal reliability
• physical fitness
• completed hunting liability insurance
• passed falconry examination

• ID card
• Hunting license or special hunting license for falconers or certificate of the hunting examination or certificate of the special hunting examination for falconers
• Certificate of the falconry examination
• current photograph
• Proof of statutory hunting liability insurance

The daily hunting license is valid for 14 consecutive days.
