Description
At the request of the person authorized to hunt, the hunting authority can confirm qualified gamekeepers as persons authorized to protect hunters. Full-time hunting wardens should be professional hunters or have forestry training.
Confirmed hunting wardens are generally responsible for the same hunting protection tasks in the hunting district for which they have been confirmed as those incumbent on the person entitled to exercise hunting rights. Hunting protection generally includes the protection of game, in particular from poachers, food shortages, game diseases, poaching dogs and cats, as well as ensuring compliance with the regulations issued for the protection of game and hunting.
