Women and girls who have been victims of violence require special counseling services, which are provided by counseling centers for girls and women who have been raped or affected by violence, by contact and counseling centers for sexually abused girls and women and by women's emergency hotlines. The counseling spectrum ranges from acute crisis intervention to individual counseling and longer-term group counseling. The services are free of charge and the staff are bound to confidentiality.
