If you wish to give up your position as an authorized district chimney sweep, you must have the relevant administrative act, i.e. your appointment, revoked by the competent authority.

You can voluntarily initiate the revocation of your appointment as an authorized district chimney sweep. Cancellation can also be enforced under certain conditions. The appointment ends when you reach the age of 67. An application for termination is not required in this case.

If you wish to give up your entire activity as a chimney sweep, you can then apply for deletion from the register of craftsmen and, if necessary, deregister your trade.
