If you hunt in Germany, you will need a hunting license. This is available in different versions. In addition to the annual hunting license, which is valid for up to 3 years, and the youth hunting license, you can also apply for a daily hunting license.

The daily hunting license is suitable for all those who do not wish to hunt regularly. It is valid for 14 consecutive days within a hunting year.

The authority responsible for your place of residence issues the day hunting license.

• Copy of identity card or passport
• Certificate of the hunting examination
• Current photograph
• Proof of statutory hunting liability insurance (premium invoice is not sufficient)

• Period of validity 14 days
  The day hunting license is valid for 14 consecutive days within a hunting year.
