If the electoral roll for the Europawahl contains incorrect information or is incomplete, you can have this corrected. This is only possible from the 20th day before the election (= start of the inspection period) following an objection or ex officio.
The objection is only possible until the 16th day before the election (= end of the inspection period). It must be made in writing or recorded at the municipality of residence. The
municipality decides on the objection by the 10th day before the election. An appeal against the decision may be lodged within two days of notification.
The municipality may correct the electoral roll at any time if it is obviously incorrect or incomplete.
The electoral roll is completed no later than the day before the election.
