If you are a citizen of the European Union living in Germany and would like to vote in the Europawahl elections, you must first be entered in the electoral register. This is either done automatically ex officio or you must submit an application.
If you have already been entered in the electoral roll for previous Europawahl elections and have not moved abroad in the meantime, you will be entered in the electoral roll ex officio and do not need to submit an application.
In all other cases, you must apply to be included in the voters' register.
