On Sunday, September 24, the city of Salzgitter provided information on the partial result for Salzgitter via current live pages. The results from the individual polling districts also appeared on the Internet on the salzgitter.de website and on the mobile display m.salzgitter.de immediately after they were received at the polling station.

In Salzgitter, around 74,000 eligible voters were called upon to cast their vote.
